Biodegradable rose petals

100% biodegradable 
Many events and locations these days only allow the use of rose petals or scattering of petals that are biodegradable. Sweet Colours rose petals are 100% biodegradable and therefore welcome at any event.

Freeze-drying
We use special freeze-drying machines to extract moisture from fresh roses. This results in 100% biodegradable rose petals. The only thing we do during this process is to extract the moisture from this product. Thanks to this environmentally friendly process, the roses retain their colour, cell structure and shape. We use no chemicals during this process. The freeze-dried roses are then separated by hand by our staff into A-quality and B-quality. 

Preserving
The preservation process of rose petals uses an advanced technical process during which the natural sap in real roses is replaced by a liquid mixture of glycerine, water and natural dyes. After this process the preserved roses are plucked by hand and sold in litre quantities and in various packaging, to customers and wholesalers. The preservation process and the use of natural dyes also makes it possible to sell rose petals in unusual colours such as black, brown, green etc.
